The books she's edited have won or been finalists for awards such as the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, the World Fantasy Award, and more--including Space Opera by Catherynne M. Valente, which asks "what if Eurovision, but in space, and the future of the human race depended on our ability to sing?"
